ddr. x Tengu Summer Series

We're delighted to be back in lovely @yamamoritengu for a couple of special summer parties this year, and to kick things off we've invited two of our finest residents along to provide the tunes on July 1st.

Laurence Kapinga Within a relatively short amount of time, Laurence Kapinga (aka StrangeLove), has proven himself as one of Ireland’s up and coming producers to keep an eye on. Within a year of releasing music independently with his collaborative Alternative RnB project Negro Impacto and making his solo debut under Martyn’s 3024 mentorship compilation “It Was Always There Vol. 1” with the melodic and bass heavy track “Headrest”, Laurence has since had the opportunity to demonstrate his dance-focused-genre-bending productions and mixes within clubs, festivals as well as radio (BBC Radio 1, RTE 2FM, The Lot Radio, NTS, Worldwide FM). Eliza Hailing from Mullingar and based in Dublin. Eliza is a DJ, involved with Dublin Digital Radio (ddr.), where she hosts a monthly show since 2018. An avid record collector, her sets meander through the rawer sounds of electronic music. Not one to be pigeonholed but expect her to weave though pulsating electro, acid and techno. You can expect to hear influences of Detroit to Den Hagg within her sets.
